Command Input Method

Command Input Method AutoCAD 2012     

      In AutoCAD 2012 there are two method that you can use for make a command AutoCAD. The first method with typing command that you want on command line. And the second method is with clicking toolbar on ribbon bar.    
     That method have an excellence's and weaknesses. The excellence of the first method is that can be faster  than the second method if you know the commands in AutoCAD. The weakness of the first method is that you must know the commands in AutoCAD.     
     The excellence of the second method is that's more easier to use for you who are new to using AutoCAD, because the commands represented by pictorial toolbar. The toolbars have been grouped by category so it is easier to find. But the weakness of the second method is that you will quite troublesome to access commands in AutoCAD, because in delineation process in AutoCAD you will busy to changing one command to another command. This is the review :

a. Typing Command    


     For the first method , here you will make a line using Line command. Line command run with typing in command line. These are the Instruction :

  1.  First, open AutoCAD 2012 Program

     2. Look at picture 1.3. In command line in the bottom of the display area of AutoCAD 2012, you click   
         then type LINE and press Enter button in keyboard for execute this command.

     3. Look at picture 1.3.1. You make a line with size and any position, with clicking P1 position and P2. 
         Press Enter in keyboard for ending making line.

b. Using Toolbar

    For the second method, you make line object with command LINE from toolbar in the ribbon bar AutoCAD 2012.

  1. Look at picture 1.3.3. You switch 2D Drafting & Annotation Workspace if it not active. After that  make sure the Home tab is active, then click Line toolbar.

       2.  Look at picture 1.3.4. You make the second line in the first line position. Click in P1 position and
            P2. Press Enter in keyboard for ending making line.
